You were travelling by ship for some time and as supplies were running out your ship had to stop at one of the nearby islands. Coming near to it weather was starting to get chaotic - wind was stronger it started to rain and there was thunder and lighting going off. It was odd to encounter this scenery in this region but you will have to overcome it because there are not enough supplies to reach another island.
